STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL 2012 IS ON!It's our 32nd year of the Strawberry Festival, the Southern Tier's grandaddy signature festival, an event filled with entertainment, food, craft artisans, activities, parade, strawberry shortcakes, wine tasting, FUN and everything else strawberries. Let the sun shine, so the strawberries ripen, and a good time will be had by all!
The Festival changes each year, but manages to keep its small town country flavor with over 20,000 visitors in attendance.

The 32nd Annual Owego Strawberry Festival - 2012
Lots of excitement is planned for this year's Festival! A Strawberry Pastry Contest, "Straw Dawgs Strut Their Stuff" Contest, Children's Bounce House, a 5K Race and Kids' 1 Mile Fun Run, a Miss/Mrs. Strawberry Pageant, Wine Tasting, and lots of great entertainment. Plan to join in as we plan to set a NEW WORLD'S RECORD IN the Longest Conga Line at the end of the Saturday Parade!
Enjoy plenty of great food and a fantastic array of arts and crafts. Over 150 vendors and artisans will line the streets downtown. Visit the unique and awesome shops in Owego. Our selection of fine restaurants and shops are filled with distinctive merchandise and is sometimes referred to as “the best kept secret in the Southern Tier!”
Since the debut of the Owego Strawberry Festival 32 years ago, hundreds of thousands of people have been drawn to downtown Owego to experience the charm of this annual festival. We urge everyone to come early and be ready for a full day of fun and excitement!

The Historic Owego Marketplace in downtown Owego is pleased to announce plans for the upcoming 32nd Annual Strawberry Festival to be held Friday night, 5:30-10:30 pm June 15 and on Saturday, June 16, 9:00-5:00 pm. This annual event is host to over 20,000 guests each year; offering plenty of food, entertainment on every street corner, and up to 150 craft and food vendors offering their wares and, of course, the sweetest of fruit – STRAWBERRIES! Enjoy the deliciousness of this festival and join us!
